Decisions
I've run marathons in each of the last three months and I have marathons scheduled for March (Little Rock) and April (OKC Memorial Marathon). Now it's time to decide if I continue the streak by stepping into something in February, perferrably early February or not. One week after the Houston Marathon my knee feels fine, so I'm seriously leaning towards maybe the ARR Desert Classic in Arizona. I have a free flight available to me on Southwest so I could go out for free and just have one night's stay on Saturday and return Sunday night, provided I can get the ticket thru Southwest....that's a very strong possibility. There are some others that are back east that weekend or the next weekend that might work as well.
I hate these kinds of decisions. I'm sure some would or will say to rest too. I could go with that option as well and then the 6 in 6 months is out the window. I feel that I can do one in February though so am I just rambling aimlessly here for no reason?

I have no idea how you are doing this. It doesn't even sound like fun to me :(
And if you do the Desert Classic, I'd love to meet you Saturday nite for dinner. let me know.
I already saw your comment (on Pat's blog) that AZ is out now. BUMMER! :<( What about the half here in February 17th?
AZ is a no go now, Randy? That would have been awesome if you could meet Pat, Lisa, Karen, Eric, and Chad (I hope I not missing anyone else LOL)
Here you go Randy.

If the link doesn't work google "Lost Dutchman Marathon".
I think Pat did the half last year.
Hmmm. decisions. Yuck.
Doing a marathon a month will keep ya on your toes, for sure :-) Good luck with your decision!!
Hope you figure it all out, Randy. Races are really hard decisions, aren't they?
Now that I realize that you have March and April scheduled already, I say go for it at ARR unless you can find something else that suits your free ticket. What fun!
What would a maniac do? I think he'd go for it!
Sleep...I think you should sleep...but that is a very "un- maniac" responce.
How is your knee holding up? Any tips for me?
Take Care
