"Quickie" Update of Today's Efforts
I met my Monday group this morning in anticipation of running an hour/5 miles but one of the group had a sore back so we walked the hour at a brisk pace. I have to admit that with my recent lack of running that this was probably best for me as well.
1:03:43 3.62 miles 17:35min/mile pace
It was slow but still it felt good and the humidity felt as if it was 150% from the way I was sweating....where did the cooler weather go?

Humidity can make a huge difference: it can make it feel like you're swimming out there instead of walking/running!
nice of you all to walk with the sore back member. still got in nearly 4 miles, so nice job on the walk. gotta love the humidity though! :)
Well, that worked out so nicely overall.
Nice job on the brisk walk. That was nice of you to stay back and walk with your friend.
I will post my training schedule for ya!
Walking still burns calories so it was a job well done! It still pushes you closer to your goal!
I hate the humidity! It can just suck the life right out of you sometimes.
Walking, running, rolling, whatever you have to do to get it done!! Especially in that kind of humidity. YUCK!
Do keep getting out there...that is the key, especially with a marathon on your mind!!
Great job, Randy!!!
Exercise is exercise, ya know? Doing an hour-long walk is so much better than nothing!! :-)
Well I've attempted to write 2 different posts this morning and it seems that Blogger is putting them elsewhere, so I'm wondering if this will post or not...it's Tuesday morning and it's raining so maybe the weather is messing up the internet waves....
