Garmin Update
I talked to Garmin this morning on the phone. They were most helpful and gave me instructions on how to reset the watch...."hit the mode and the reset buttons at the same time", then hit the power button. It came right on....so I'm hoping I'm safe for now. Time will tell, but I am getting a bit anxious as we get closer to marathon time in September.
This Saturday is our last long day (20 miles...yes a whole 20!!!!) and then we start to taper for the marathon...which is great as we will be leaving for Minnesota and North Dakota on 8/31, and will be gone for a week.
I'm getting excited about the marathon...about running the full distance....wow...yes!!!!!! I can do it!!!!

I was going to tell you about the reset. It says it on page 6 of the manual. But, they helped you first. Good luck with your marathon. It's in St. Charles, MO right? You got to get some toasted ravoli's. They are unbelievable. Matter of fact, St. Louis is know for Italian food. If you have the time Check out The Hill (Italian Neighborhood).
I'm getting close to my taper as well -- just that darn 20 miler to hurdle over! Good luck with yours and be prepared to enjoy the taper!
Glad to hear the Garmin is fixable!
WAHOO! NORTH DAKOTA!!! The weather has been pretty NICE up here!!!
WOw Randy!!! That is AWESOME!!! You most DEFINITELY can do a 20 miler!!! ;D ;D
I'm glad to hear that the ole Garmin is working. Let's hope it stays that way ;-)

Yay for the reset. Sounds like that did the trick for now.
Best wishes during the taper. You can do the marathon!!
