Run/Walk Monday

Well this day started out that we were just going to walk, then we finally decided that we would run, so let it be that we did a very slow hour....which after our 20 on Saturday this was a good recovery day. I'm not sore, have no blisters, and I'm ready to go more....

Total Time: 1:02:50
Mile 1: 15:25
Mile 2: 15:50
Mile 3: 13:57
Mile 4: 13:24
Last 0.38 mile: 10:59 pace
Avg HR: 131
MAX HR: 166

Nothing like starting out walking to assure yourself of negative splits....LOL...

Good job on your recovery miles and deciding to make the walk a run!

Woohoo on the negative split. That's probably the only way I can negative split. LOL!

I think it was wise to start out slowly...if only I could talk myself down a few to do that. ;>) It seems that I prefer the crash and burn technique.

Starting out slowly is smart, especially after the long run you had. Negative splits too are icing on the cake.

hmmmm. start out walking for a negative split. That might work for me if I walked one mile and ran one.
